The School Board is hosting a School Safety Town Hall to obtain feedback on safety initiatives including clear backpacks, a unified dress code and metal detectors. Dates for a board workshop and vote on clear backpacks have been added.
The School Safety Town Hall will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 at Plantation High School, located at 6901 N.W 16th Street, Plantation, FL 33313. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
On Tuesday, June 20, 2023, the School Board will hold a Board Workshop on this topic and a Board Vote is scheduled for Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
